Establishing the Client Relationship

Before substantial work begins, new clients may be asked to complete Horizon’s Investigative Services Agreement. The agreement establishes the professional relationship and explains the responsibilities of Horizon and the client regarding lawful purpose, assignment authorization, confidentiality, scope, reports, fees, expenses, retainers, and use of investigative findings.

Once the master agreement is established, routine assignments can ordinarily be authorized by email or other written communication. Complex, field-based, surveillance, expedited, or higher-cost assignments may require a separate scope confirmation, advance retainer, or additional written terms.

Horizon will provide the appropriate agreement and assignment instructions after reviewing your request.
